ADDITIONAL INFO. ON THOMAS FISHER & POLLY BRENNER:

I saw your posting on Ancestry.com I am a descendent of Thomas and Polly Fisher. I don't know a lot, but can fill in some blanks. I understand Thomas died in the Civil War. I have never found proof of that. Polly remarried to Sanders Conroe (look him up on Ancestry for 1880 census). I just found this out last week after researching Ancestry. Also, see the pension card on him (unfortunately shows her name as "Tolly"). I was told her maiden name was Brannon....but don't know. I am a descendent of son Albert. Albert married Ida D. Acre in McKean Co. PA and had 6 children (I think) and I am from his youngest, Ernest. I have more tidbits of info but am at work.  Someone else in the family is more of an expert at the Fisher family but I have not contacted her for about 10 yrs. I think I will try to email her (if I can find it) because I am curious about the Fisher's too. I have spent most of the past 5 years researching other branches of my family and have left the Fishers "on the back burner". Write back and see what we can do if we put our heads together. Sue Fisher Styles , Buffalo, NY

THANKS:

WHAT I NEED & OR AM LOOKING FOR:

To fill in the blanks and to give this tree some branches!!

Biggest Question:
Who are you, where are you from, who are your parents, do you have more children? What did you do for work, military service, where are you buried? Who was your spouse, who was their parents, where were they all from? Family stories?

My mother's family side of the family tree is nearly bare and surrounded in one brick wall after another. Any information given, source and or documentation to follow up verification is appreciated as I need this for my genealogical files. I will gladly help offset postage and copying fees if you don't have a scanner.

I am not seeking to pay a fellow genealogist exorbant fees. As a genealogist and researcher I keep my information in my own personally paid public domain in addition to the free space presently being used at rootsweb so others don't have to pay for it and it can be easily accessed. I don't look at the countless hours and unknown sum of monies I've personally invested in all of my various research endeavors. I look at this empty family tree and only hope that in this way I can fill it enough someday to publish my complete family genealogy for my children..
