Interesting Facts:

• Born in Margaretville, New York. 

• First born son of Cecil Sanford and Mary K. Dougherty Sanford.  He would be followed by 6 siblings, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

• He is a father to five children, me and my two younger siblings by Catherine Fairchild Sanford.  Then he has 2 other children, a son and a daughter. 

• He also is Grandfather to eight children from me and my siblings, 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.  He also has a grandson from another daughter. An interesting note, my son Sean is my father's 4th grandchild. (Grandson # 3) {Unbeknownst at that time to my father, he was a grandfather twice in one day on 1-15-1992 with grandsons # 2 and # 3 being born 6 hrs. apart. } And Sabrina is my father's 5th grandchild. (Granddaughter # 2).
